Soccer Positions


As with basketball, football is a game with players who perform a particular role. The team consists of eleven positions. There is one goalie or the goalie, and ten others who have to defend or attack take up midfield positions. Each role has a set of skills and a certain space to work s.

Goalkeeper or goalkeeper

It is a goalkeeper who must prevent the opponent from scoring the goal. This is the only person who can touch the ball with their hands and they can move only within a limited area of the field.

Veterans or defensive positions

These positions help goalie prevent opponents from scoring the goal. As well as goalkeeper, they are limited to certain areas of the field.

* Centerback-in centerbacks try to stop the strike especially opponents of the opposing team from scoring. They are trying to keep the ball in the penalty area.

* Sweepers-sweepers go after every one of the opposing team that breaks through the line of defense. A cleaner should be able to control the ball and passed it well and counter any moves that carries these attacks.

*- Fullback These players try to prevent the ball from entering the penalty areas

Midfielders

These players are between the Strikers and defenders. They try to get the ball from defenders on the opposing team passes and that their strike. It is a position that requires a lot of energy because they keep track of the many things at once. They can be switched from the position in the position of Defensive attack at any time during The Game.

* Defensive midfield-purpose of this role is to get the ball from an attacker on the opposing team

* Attack's midfield players must try to open avenues for the team to score their goals

Strikers or attackers, or Forward

These team members are located close to the opposing team goal. They are those who score goals. Others play the role is to try to help others on their team score the goal. Most famous soccer players are in this position because they score the most goals.
