History of Football

Football is the biggest sport in the world and millions of people watching the game and enjoy, but are completely unconscious when it comes to knowing the history of the game. No one knows the exact date of the game was played, but there are centuries around 1000 BC, the Japanese are regarded as having played the same type of game. The Greeks and Chinese are also thought to have played a game similar to football.

In 1300, during the reign of King Edward, anyonemade to play football has been put behind bars, as it was considered dangerous and shocked the public. The ban was lifted in 1681 and won football was allowed to play in England in 1800, the game has become so popular that they had soccer competitions once a year. After this major leagues began to form around the football world and become a spectator sport. Soccer made its first appearance in the Olympics at the Olympic Games of 1900, when an English teamteam emerged the winners.

Today, the championships are played by national teams rather than clubs and is a factor that has increased the number of football fans cheered as their country. Today, football is best seen on television and millions of dollars have been spent on the game. The league is the most popular English Premier League, La Liga, Serie A in Italy and Bundas Liga in Germany. Players have become superstars and are amonghighest-paid athlete in the world.
