How to play football as a defender

Becoming a good defender in soccer is something that takes time and you should be aware of this. In fact, to become good at any position in football, you must practice a lot. However, the practice is not always necessary to involve the exercise. One can also think of bringing professional players in a statement block and tries to answer the following questions:

- What is the professional player who performs on his opponent? - E 'clear the ball directly in hazardous conditionssituations? - E 'followed attacks in tort or who prefer to remain in his part of the field.

It 'important to study well these players and try to imitate the way they play. However, you should not try to copy their personalities that will not help you on the ground.

When playing as a defender you must ask a good speed, the dominant position in the air (later) and good ball handling skills. There are of course many other things that are equally importantsuch as understanding different formations and tactics.

Being able to dominate the game in air is probably the most important skill that must be mastered as a defender. The reason for this is that it is often in battle position with one or two opponents.

If you already have a good ability to position then you should try to work on further improvements. Perfection does not exist in football. You always have to work hard to improve, but also keep yourexisting powers.

I always like to explain things with real examples and this article is no different. Suppose you play a game of cup. During the game you were in 20 position and won two each. However, the result is still 1-1 and your team is a winning goal.

But, in an attack on the ball through the inside of his penalty area. As the ball flies toward the 18-yard box (penalty area), we are quite surewin the duel section.

However, you can not stop your opponent to get a touch on the ball and scores. The game is over and everyone looks at you (even if your partner is not the fault of anger on their faces will tell you what they think).

So what I mean in this example? Well, as you realize he was doing very well until you made the mistake of jumping too late. Keep in mind that a game is not completed before thereferee whistles. E 'therefore important to maintain concentration throughout the entire game and still be on your toes.
